Hot pots and Funyuns...

...delightful combination right? We thought so. A trip to the hot springs was the perfect way to end a marvelous Christmas break. Though we didn't see any turkey tending midgets, the drive was still a joy. The iPod serenaded us as the Idaho country side passed us by. It is amazing how shades of brown covered in snow can be so breath taking. When we arrived, we were elated to find that not only was it surprisingly warm outside, but that our favorite hot pot was vacant.

We soaked and relaxed for an hour or two, letting the woes of life slip away. Then we visited our favorite hippy in his little purple shop. Here you can find a vast array of wonderous wares and goods such as these treasures:

I bet you can hardly control yourself. You may even be contemplating getting into your automobile of choice and heading up to The Purple Moon right now to snag one of your own. Here you can also find various crystals, ninja weaponry, cheesy magnets, and get your aura photographed while you're at it. What could be better? A bag of funyuns you say? Well Shawn's Market has you covered on that one. You can also get corn holders, and you might just get them for free!

It's always sad to drive away from this quirky little town, but alas BoneBar needed to go potty, and Tootwhisk needed food, so we headed back home.

Soundtrack: The Faint Fasciinatiion, Grandaddy Sumday, Horse Feathers Words Are Dead, Elvis Perkins Ash Wednesday

Feed Bag: Mountain Dew, Bahama Mama, Funyuns & Sour Patch Kids.
